Indica et Buddhica - Catalogus Bibliothecarum is a Virtual Union Catalogue providing centralised access to publicly available library servers with significant Indological and Buddhological collections. Catalogus uses the Z39.50 Protocol to transfer Indological and Buddhological data across large networks. It enables researchers to conveniently locate and obtain records from a wide range of collections, quickly and with just one interface. Bibliographic records can be viewed in various forms - Summary, Brief and Full - and downloaded in various formats - EndNote, RIS, BibTeX, and Dublin Core. All records can be cross searched through embedded links ... and all are in UTF-8. As with Scholia, Catalogus records can easily be imported into traditional personal reference managers such as EndNote and Reference Manager. So too with the more recent web based social bookmark and publication sharing systems such as CiteUlike and BibSonomy. So please try Catalogus - Demo. Or for full access please sign up for free as a registered user.
Nota Bene: It is believed that the public Z39.50 servers accessible through Catalogus Bibliothecarum are generally available for the purposes of research or private study. Before using Catalogus please ensure that you have read and understood our Terms of Use. Z39.50 server details and availability policies sometimes change. So that appropriate changes can be made please send all new information to the System Administrator. Catalogus Bibliothecarum: A Catalogue of Indological and Buddhological Collections
